Joe Beck is a lifelong resident of Stryker. He takes great pride in Stryker and looks forward to making Stryker the best it can be, while maintaining the small town feel that he feels was so important when raising his family. Joe is employed by Sylvania City Schools as the transportation supervisor. He is a 22 year veteran of the Navy Reserves and served two deployments in the Middle East. Joe is also active in his church.
Alan Riegsecker – Village Administrator
Alan has over 20 years of experience in public works. He holds a Class 1 EPA license in both water and wastewater. Alan has owned and operated heavy excavation equipment for over 30 years, and has over 29 years of experience as a basketball referee. Alan is married to Tammy and they have 3 daughters and 1 son.
Beth Rediger – Village Fiscal Officer
Beth Rediger is the Village Fiscal Officer. She has over 16 years experience as a Fiscal Officer. Beth received her certified Municipal Clerk License in December 2006 and Master Municipal Clerk thru Kent State in November 2011. Beth is married to Don Jr. and they have 2 sons, Jared and Jonathan.
Emily Clemens – Deputy Clerk
Emily is a graduate of Stryker High School and graduated with honors from Defiance College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Past work experience includes the Ohio State, Office of the Auditor for 5 years. Emily is married to Josh and has 2 daughters: Aubrey and McKenzie.
Vicki Cameron – Village Council President
Vicki Cameron was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Stryker in 2006 when she married James Cameron II. Together they have 4 children, Kyle, Kandi, Zachary and Chyanne and 5 grandchildren. She was an EMT in Michigan and went to Spring Arbor University where she majored in History and Science. Vicki is currently a Forensics and Environmental science teacher at Four County Career Center. She enjoys traveling the USA in their camper, gardening, bird watching, kayaking, her boxer and best of all playing with the grandkids.
Sean Ingram – Village Council
Council member Sean Ingram came to Stryker in 2014 after accepting the call to be the Lead Pastor of the First Baptist Church. He has lived in such diverse places as Denver, CO, Los Angeles, CA, Scranton, PA, and Columbus, OH. He has been married to Kathee since 1990 and they are the parents of three grown children. He is a life-long fan of the Denver Broncos, but also enjoys the Ohio State Buckeyes. He has no political affiliation, preferring to be guided by biblical values that transcend political ideologies. He welcomes questions and input from the community.
Shawna Leupp – Village Council
Shawna has proudly called the Village of Stryker home for the past 11 years and has been an active part of the community for more than 20 years. She is the proud mother of three daughters, all graduates of Stryker schools. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare administration, Shawna has served in a variety of roles across different medical facilities, bringing dedication and leadership to her field. Although she graduated from Morenci, she truly considers Stryker her home.
Rebecca Miller – Village Council
Rebecca Miller has been happily married to David for 46 years and she is a follower of Jesus. They have four wonderful children who have all married and have given them 16 grandchildren. David and Rebecca have lived in Stryker for a total of 20 years, with the first twelve from 1986-1998 and then they moved back in 2017. Rebecca likes to joke about how there is an entire world out there and the only two homes they have ever purchased are both right here in the little town of Stryker, Ohio. She is a retired journalist and has met many of the people of Williams County while enjoying that career. Rebecca began thinking about the possibility of being a Council member while she was a journalist. She thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the men and women who served our Village and have watched how they work with integrity to make good decisions. Rebecca loves the great ideas Council comes up with to better the community and she is happy to have the opportunity to join them in the process.
Stanley Whitlock – Village Council
Stanley is a graduate of Stryker High School and has lived in Stryker most of his life. He has been married to Sheila since 1977 and they are the parents of their daughter, Jennifer, who graduated from Stryker. They are also the proud grandparents of three. Since Stan is retired, he is glad to serve his hometown.
Nick Wlasiuk – Village Council
Nick has been married to Susan B. Anderson for 30 wonderful years. They have two daughters; Nichole (Dominique) Marks of Cincinnati and Nadine Rea Wlasiuk of Navato, California. They also have 5 grandchildren; Lydia, Asher, Nineveh, Malachi and Connor. Nick has been a resident of Stryker for over 15 years; his wife is originally from Stryker. Nick has been in manufacturing as a supervisor for over 30 years with companies like; Sauder Woodworking, Style Mark which became Fypon and now is a part of Fortune Brands. Currently he is working for Therma-Tru Door in Butler, Indiana, which also a part of the Fortune Brands Group.
